Just-Health provides a number of connections to well-known organisations and institutions on the web, which serve as a valuable source of supplementary data as well as a wealth of other resources. Because not all of the medical resources available on the Internet are up to date or accredited, users should refrain from drawing any conclusions about their own health based only on the content of the internet.

Just-Health is not responsible for the availability of external sites or resources. Furthermore, Just-Health does not endorse any content, advertising, products, services, or other materials that are on or available from such sites or resources and is not responsible or liable for any such content, advertising, products, or services.

Just-Health shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any type of loss or damage that is caused by or in connection with the use of content, services, or goods that are available on or through external sites or resources. This includes any type of loss or damage that may be caused by or in connection with the use of third-party websites or resources. Unlawful or Prohibited Use

You agree, as a prerequisite to using the Just-Health website, that you will not use the website for any purpose that is either illegal or forbidden by these terms and conditions. This is a condition of your use of the Just-Health website.

These Terms and Conditions govern the user’s usage of the Service and serve as the agreement between the user and Just-Health regarding the user’s access to and use of the Service. The laws of England will apply to both the terms and conditions of use as well as the relationship that exists between the user and Just-Health. Both the user and Just-Health have come to an agreement that they will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. The fact that Just-Health does not actively exert or fully enforce any right or condition of the Conditions does not mean that Just-Health is waiving their ability to do so in the future.

If a court of competent jurisdiction rules that any provision of the Conditions is invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should make every effort to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the Conditions continue to be in full force and effect.

Terms & Conditions

The Contract

a. The foundation of the agreement that SSYNS Ltd business as Just Health and you are entering into is comprised of these terms and conditions. Please make sure you have these terms and conditions well read through before placing an order. Please do not hesitate to contact us and ask for clarification if there is anything in these terms and conditions that you do not fully understand.

b. The formation of a contract that is legally binding will follow after the acceptance of your order.

c. We will make every effort to ensure that all of the information is shown to you before the formation of the contract between Us and You, unless such information is presented to you in the course of the transaction itself.

Your referral and report

a. You (or those whom you are acting for as a servant or agent) are forming a contract with SSYNS Ltd, Company number 12376636 trading as Just Health hereafter referred to as JH; for the verification of a medical report required for a firearms or shotgun licence. This contract is for the purpose of obtaining a firearms or shotgun licence.

b. For you to be able to recommend a patient to JH, both the referral form and the permission form need to be filled out in their whole and with precision.

c. Each and every referral form has to be filled out, either digitally via our referral site or manually using our referral papers.

d. If you choose to submit JH your recommendation, you acknowledge and agree that the completion of your medical report may take up to 32 days. The turnaround time is often considerably shorter, but there is a chance that your primary care physician’s office may delay sending your medical data for as long as they can (up to 30 days). It’s possible that it will take longer if they decide to publish it to us.

e.You acknowledge and consent to the fact that one of the physicians on our panel will get your recommendation. You acknowledge and consent to the possibility that any of our medical professionals may access your medical records in order to compile your report. We will make certain that each of our physicians has the appropriate qualifications and is covered by indemnity insurance. Entering their name into the search facility of the GMC register will allow you to determine whether or not they are a licenced medical practitioner.

f. After we have received your medical data from your primary care physician’s office, our goal is to finish writing up your report and get it back to you within 72 hours.

You understand and agree that reports may be finished and provided to you earlier or in certain situations beyond the standard period of 72 hours.

In the event that referrals or the information that was sent to us was incomplete, or if your primary care physician’s office did not cooperate with our request for medical records, then the 72 hours would not begin until we were in possession of the medical documents.

g. By sending your referral to JH and making payment you understand that once JH are in possession of your medical records, one of our doctors will review those medical records.

This is to determine whether you currently or previously have had any of the following medical conditions:

• An acute stress reaction or an acute reaction to stress caused by trauma

• Depression or anxiety

• Suicidal, intention, thoughts or self-harm.

• A history or diagnosis of dementia

• Mania, bipolar disorder or a psychotic disorder

• Personality disorders

• Neurological conditions: e.g. example Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s or Huntington’s disease, or Epilepsy

• Any alcohol or drug abuse

• Other mental or physical conditions which might affect the safe possession of a shotgun or firearm

The information gathered will then be shared with you and/or the police force (this varies depending on the police force) that the firearm/shotgun application is being sent to.

h. The Home Office 2019 guidance also recommends that we also contact your GP surgery to advise that the police may contact them to request a firearms marker is added to your patient record (if such a marker is not already present on your patient record). This is if any new medical issues emerge after the certificate has been granted then the GP can notify the police.

Your obligations and responsibilities

a. You must co-operate with us in all matters relating to your referral.

b. It is your responsibility to ensure that the referral made is appropriate to your requirements.

c. It is your responsibility to ensure that the police force dealing with your firearm/shotgun application will accept a medical report completed by a doctor other than your own GP.

d. It is your responsibility to ensure that referral form is accurate and complete. Any incomplete information from the referral form which results in JH having to complete the medical form more than once, may result in extra charges at our discretion.

e. Please be aware that your medical report will be viewed by the relevant police force and any inaccurate information or personal comments about you as a result of incorrect information being recorded on your referral form will be shared with the police.

f. As you are responsible for the content of the referral form, JH are therefore not liable for any complaint or claim based on any inaccurate or false information on the referral form.

g. You agree not to contact or attempt to contact our doctors or employees directly, with a view to engaging their services directly. All referrals and enquires must be made to https://justhealth.co.uk or info@justhealth.co.uk.

h. You must not, under any circumstance, use our company logo or any other associated images or trademarks of SSYNS Ltd without prior authorisation from us.

Providing The Service

a. We will ensure that all our doctors hold the appropriate professional registration with the General Medical Council and appropriate indemnity cover.

If there is a likelihood of a substantial delay you can contact us to cancel the referral and receive a full refund for any services you have paid for but not received.

c. You unequivocally accept that your referral cannot be refunded if a doctor has been allocated your referral and has begun completing your medical report, or if the completed report has been returned to you or your designated firearms officer.

d. If JH is unable to complete the medical report for whatever reason, you unequivocally accept that JH is only liable for the fee which you paid for the medical report. JH shall not be responsible for any consequential loss suffered as a result of JH not being able to produce the medical report.

Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you

a) We are not liable for any losses other than the fee paid for the service if JH has not completed the medical report within 72hrs of receiving the medical records from your GP. If you use our service for any commercial or business purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

Using your personal information

a) We will only use your personal information as set out in our privacy policy: https://justhealth.co.uk/privacy-policy/.
