Hay fever or allergic Rhinitis is an allergy to pollen or even dust and mould. According to Allergy UK, hay fever affects about 20% of the population. If you have a family history of asthma or eczema, you are most likely to also have hay fever.

There are a number of hay fever treatments, which can help with your day-to-day symptoms. The most effective way to treat hay fever is a mixture of antihistamines, nasal sprays and eye drops. All of these products help to provide all-day relief from hay fever symptoms.
If your symptoms are severe you may be eligible for the Severe hay fever Treatments ( subject to doctor’s discretion)

The Hay Fever Treatments for severe symptoms is only administered to individuals who suffer with
- Severe Hay Fever symptoms despite trying common treatments (combination therapies must have been tried)
- AND the Doctor deems it is appropriate and safe to do so.
What is a hay fever injection?
The hay fever injection is a steroid treatment, not an antihistamine. Steroids are a powerful anti-inflammatory medication that helps suppress the body’s immune response when it overreacts without the need for tablets, sprays or other medication.
Does the hay fever injection work?
The hay fever injection can be beneficial when other treatments have failed. Please note this is an unlicensed indication and is only available at select private clinics by Expert Clinicians who discuss the benefits and risks of administering this medication with you on the day of your consultation.
How long do hay fever injections last?
Usually, one injection is enough to keep symptoms at bay for the entire hay fever season.
In some instances, a second hay fever injection may be required during the same season. This should be done within 2-3 weeks after the initial injection.
